Stargate is a slot casino game where you bet on the outcome of five spinning reels. Match three or more symbols (or icons) on a win line to win a payout. Payouts increase depending on the number of matching symbols you have. Stargate offers free spins and varied wild bonuses!

What are winning lines?
Stargate is a 20-line slot game that may present 20 winning combinations of five symbols across its five reels. A 'win line' is a line of symbols that MAY contain a winning combination when the reels stop. A win line must contain a minimum of three consecutive symbols (appearing from left to right) for any payout to be made.
Select your lines
You can select the win line to bet on in the following ways:
- Click the Lines arrow buttons to increase or decrease the number of lines.
- Click on the individual numbers displayed on either side of the reels. Click on a number to bet on that number of lines. For example, if you click on the number 9, then you are betting on win lines 1 to 9 inclusive.
Click the PAY TABLE button to view the 20 win lines.
Set your stake
To increase, or decrease, the amount you are going to bet on each line, click the up or down arrows on the BET/LINE button.
Remember that stakes are accepted on a per line basis.
The total stake amount for your forthcoming Stargate game will be the stake per line multiplied by the number of lines you have chosen to play. For example, if you select a £2 Bet/Line and you decide to play 20 lines then the total amount staked on the next game will be (2x20) £40. This is shown in the STAKE area.
Payouts
Click the PAY TABLE button to view payout values for each symbol.
Notes
- A single payment only is made per winning line. For example, five matching symbols pays out the value for five symbols and does not pay for four symbols or three symbols.
- A symbol can contribute to one or more win lines. The win line payouts are accumulated.
- The value of any payout is displayed in the TOTAL PAID area.
Special features
Through the Stargate!
If three or more Bonus scatter symbols appear in any position (they do not have to be consecutive, or left to right) when the reels have stopped you are awarded free spins bonus. During the free spins, all wins are initially doubled. Should additional free spins be triggered, the game will then multiply all future wins by x3, then by x4 and finally by x5.
The stake and the number of lines selected in the game that triggered the free spins is used for the duration of the free spin period.
Transporter Rings
If the Transporter Rings symbol appear anywhere on reels two or four, then the entire reel becomes wild.
Wild symbol
The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the bonus symbols. A maximum of four wilds can contribute to any given win line.
Mother Ship Wild symbol
If the Mother Ship Wild symbol appears anywhere on reel three, it substitutes for all symbols except the bonus symbols. Also, you are asked to choose one of three Mother Ships that appear. Click one of the Mother Ships to reveal an additional random multiplier value (between X2 and X5). This additional multiplier is applied to the pay line award.
Game recovery
In the event of a game in Real play being interrupted (i.e. started but not completed due to connectivity issues or accidentally closing the browser etc), any winnings will be correctly credited to the customer's account and will be exact according to the result prior to the game being interrupted.
Please note that in some feature games the sequence and number of events leading to the display of the total award, may vary from the animation prior to game recovery. This will not affect the result of the game after the game has recovered.
Auto spin
Auto spin is a convenient way to play without having to click the SPIN button to start each game. Each spin starts automatically until something occurs that requires your intervention or the number of spins set expiries.
Using auto spin
- Click the AUTO SPIN button and select the number of auto spins you require.
- If there is a win during auto spin play, the win lines are displayed along with the payout value.
- Any interaction by you during auto spin (except that described above) will stop it immediately.
- Click STOP SPIN to cancel auto spin.

Who am I betting with?
You are betting with Paddy Power bookmaker. We are the bookmaker laying the odds for you, the punter, to take. If you lose your bet, we keep your money. If you win your bet, we pay you your winnings.
Is the game fair?
The game is a game involving fixed odds and you are just as likely to win in any one game as you are in any other. Each game and each number is generated in isolation. Therefore if you have won money on the last five games there is nothing to say you will be less likely to win on the next just because you are on a winning streak.
Can I try the game for free?
Yes. There is an option whereby you can play for fun, and this is well worth doing if you wish to develop a feel for the game before depositing your hard-earned cash!
What is the minimum/maximum I can bet?
£0.01/€0.01 is the smallest bet that you can place on any one outcome. The maximum bet you can place is £/€500 (£/€25 x 20 lines). Of course, the maximum amount you are allowed to stake within this framework will ultimately be dictated by the available funds that you have in your account at the time.
The game does not download load properly. Why is this?
This problem can be broken down into two more specific complaints, which are as follows:
1. The game is not displaying properly- This will be due to your screen resolution being too small. The game works on a minimum screen resolution of 800 by 600 pixels. To change your screen resolution simply go to your desktop and click on the right-hand mouse button. A menu will pop up and you will need to select 'Properties'. Another box will pop up and you will need to select 'Settings' from the tabs running along the top of the box. From here you will be able to alter your screen resolution.
2. The game is simply not working at all - This may be because you need to download the latest version of Flash Player. After loading the game, you will have received a screen prompt asking you whether you wanted to download the latest version of Flash Player. Downloading this will ensure that you will be able to play the game without any problems. If you ignored or switched the prompt off, you can go to the Macromedia website and download Flash Player from there.
The game seems to be running very slowly. It there anything I can do about this?
Unfortunately not. Our game relies upon your machine, and will run as quickly or slowly as your machine allows. Other than upgrading your computer and its facilities, there is little that can be done with regards to improving the speed of the game on any one machine

6. TERMINATION
6.1 We may terminate your account (including your username and password) if we believe in our sole discretion that you have breached any of these Conditions, the General Rules or the Terms and Conditions or have acted in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of any of them or for any reason we discontinue to provide the Product.
6.2 You acknowledge that we do not have to give you prior notice of any such termination.
7. GENERAL
7.1 No bet can be cancelled by a customer once confirmed by us. All valid bets stand once confirmed whether the customer is on-line or off-line, subject to the provisions set out in clause 3.3 or as otherwise provided in the General Terms or (as applicable) the Terms and Conditions.
7.2 We reserve the right to withdraw the Product or any element of the Product at any time without notice to you, and we will not be liable as a result of any such action.
7.3 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the General Rules, the maximum pay-out (meaning the aggregate winnings including returned stakes) for any calendar day (based on Greenwich Mean Time) to any individual customer (including any other person accessing the Product using your user identification) or to any group of customers acting together is £2,000,000 or currency equivalent, notwithstanding the number of different games played by the customer or group of customers acting together in the calendar day.
7.4 If any part of these Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from these Conditions and shall not effect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of these Conditions.
7.5 No waiver by us of any of these Conditions shall be construed as a waiver of any preceding or succeeding breach of any of these Conditions.
7.6 Nothing in these Conditions shall be construed as creating any agency, partnership or any other form of joint enterprise between you and us.

8. LAW
8.1 These Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
