How to Play
Buying Credits to Play Game
- To play the game you need to buy credits.
- In the Buy In screen, select the amount of credits that you wish to purchase and click the Buy In button.
- To purchase more credits whilst in a game, go to Options and click the Buyin/Cashout button.
Changing Credit Value

How to Bet
To play Classic Roulette, select a chip value by clicking a chip at the bottom of the playing field. The chip you select displays in a raised position. To place a bet, click the numbers you want on betting area on the table. Each time you click, you place one chip on the table.
Your wager must be at least as large as the table minimum limit and cannot exceed the table maximum limit.
After you place your wager, click the SPIN button.
Goal of Roulette
The goal in Roulette is to anticipate where the ball will land in the wheel, and to place bets accordingly. There are a variety of bet types, and the paybacks for the different bets vary. Information regarding the bets and paybacks is provided on the game's paytable, which is accessed from the button on the Console to the right of the game screen.
To play, begin by selecting a chip value from the game Controls. Each chip value represents a number of credits, each in the denomination that you selected when you launched the game.
After you have selected a chip value, you may place wagers on the table. As you move your mouse across the number board, you will see the payback ratios for the bet opportunities that you are moving over displayed in a window at the top of the game screen. To place a wager, left click the mouse on the chosen wager spot. Each click will add another chip of the selected value to the stack. The total bet for the wager on that spot will be displayed on the top chip of the stack, as well as in the window that displays the payback ratio. To remove a wager from a spot, you may press on the keyboard while left clicking the mouse. If you want to remove all wagers from the board, you may do so by clicking the Clear Bets button.
Keep in mind that there are minimum and maximum limits for wagers on the table, and you will be prompted as a reminder of these. If the minimum table bet is larger than a single chip, then you may make single chip bets as long as the total of all wagers meets the table minimum.
In Roulette, there is a maximum wager limit for each bet, as well as a table maximum limit. The limit for a bet on an individual spot is a fraction of the overall table limit - for single number bets the maximum wager limit is one twentieth of the table limit, for multi-number bets you may bet up to one twentieth of the table limit for every number included in your position. The following table describes the maximum bet for each bet opportunity.

Once you have placed all desired wagers, click the Spin button to launch the ball into the wheel. It will land on one of the positions on the wheel. The outcome will be shown as the top number on the outcome history display, at the right of the game screen. A marker will also be placed on the number board at the winning position. Any losing wagers will be cleared from the table. Any winning wagers will be paid according to the paytable. Your winning wagers will remain on the table for a period of time and then cleared from the table. You can choose to bet the same amounts and positions by clicking the Re-Bet button, or you just place your new bet. If you choose to Re-Bet, you will need to click the SPIN button to start the game.

Who am I betting with?
You are betting with Paddy Power bookmaker. We are the bookmaker laying the odds for you, the punter, to take. If you lose your bet, we keep your money. If you win your bet, we pay you your winnings.
Is Classic Roulette fair?
This game of chance is entirely fair and you are just as likely to win in any one game as you are in any other. The deck is shuffled after every game. Each game is generated in isolation and the odds of getting any particular outcome are exactly the same. Therefore if you have won money on the last five games there is nothing to say you will be less likely to win on the next just because you are on a winning streak.
Can I try the game for free?
Yes. There is an option whereby you can play for fun, and this is well worth doing if you wish to develop a feel for the game before depositing your hard-earned cash! You cannot be logged in if you wish to play for fun.

What is the minimum/maximum I can bet?
£/€1 is the smallest bet that you can place on any one outcome. The maximum bet you can place is £/€1,000. Of course, the maximum amount you are allowed to stake will ultimately be dictated by the available funds that you have in your account at the time.
The game does not download load properly. Why is this?
This problem can be broken down into two more specific complaints, which are are below. However, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us (contact info in the footer) if you are having difficulty.
1. The game is not displaying properly - This will be due to your screen resolution being too small. The game works on a minimum screen resolution of 800 by 600 pixels. To change your screen resolution simply go to your desktop and click on the right-hand mouse button. A menu will pop up and you will need to select 'Properties'. Another box will pop up and you will need to select 'Settings' from the tabs running along the top of the box. From here you will be able to alter your screen resolution.
2. The game is simply not working at all - This may be because you need to download the latest version of Flash Player. After loading the game, you will have received a screen prompt asking you whether you wanted to download the latest version of Flash Player. Downloading this will ensure that you will be able to play the game without any problems. If you ignored or switched the prompt off, you can go to the Macromedia website and download Flash Player from there.
The game seems to be running very slowly. It there anything I can do about this?
Unfortunately not. Our game relies upon your machine, and will run as quickly or slowly as your machine allows. Other than upgrading your computer and its facilities, there is little that can be done with regards to improving the speed of the game on any one machine.

6. TERMINATION
6.1 We may terminate your account (including your username and password) if we believe in our sole discretion that you have breached any of these Conditions, the General Rules or the Terms and Conditions or have acted in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of any of them or for any reason we discontinue to provide the Product.
6.2 You acknowledge that we do not have to give you prior notice of any such termination.
7. GENERAL
7.1 No bet can be cancelled by a customer once confirmed by us. All valid bets stand once confirmed whether the customer is on-line or off-line, subject to the provisions set out in clause 3.3 or as otherwise provided in the General Terms or (as applicable) the Terms and Conditions.
7.2 We reserve the right to withdraw the Product or any element of the Product at any time without notice to you, and we will not be liable as a result of any such action.
7.3 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the General Rules, the maximum pay-out (meaning the aggregate winnings including returned stakes) for any calendar day (based on Greenwich Mean Time) to any individual customer (including any other person accessing the Product using your user identification) or to any group of customers acting together is £2,000,000 or currency equivalent, notwithstanding the number of different games played by the customer or group of customers acting together in the calendar day.
7.4 If any part of these Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from these Conditions and shall not effect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of these Conditions.
