Wild Mining

Dead Canary features a 'collapsing mine' reel function, allowing new symbols to drop down and replace collapsed symbols. Match three, four, or five of the same symbol type across the diagonal reels to trigger Wild Mining! An xBomb Wild will take the place of the symbols and explode in an 'X' shape. It will also increase the win multiplier.

Canary Free Spins 

Hit three canaries to activate Canary Freespins. The reel area expands, and the vaults lock so that the canary Scatters can collect nearby coins and multipliers. Scatters start with three hit points and will lose one hit point from xBombs and gas. You will only receive the collected wins if the birds die, but do not worry — they do respawn!

Scatters

The Scatters are the canary symbols in this game. They can move to any reel, except when it lands behind a vault, where they will get stuck until the vaults are unlocked. Canary Scatters come in Silver or Gold and collect bonuses in an X-shape across the reels. Silver collects to its left, whereas Gold can collect over all rows. Vaults will be unlocked if they are caught in an xBomb explosion. When a vault is unlocked, the bonuses collected by the canaries will be rewarded.
