A proper free-to-play game of skill
Paddy’s Run Royale is designed to be played for fun and for bragging rights, with prizes based on performance rather than chance.
When you jump into the game, you’ll run through a fast-moving course filled with obstacles and collectable icons. Your aim is to keep your run going for as long as possible and build the best score you can before your character hits an obstacle.
Here’s how scoring works:
- You earn 1 point for every metre you run in-game
- Each dice icon collected is worth 5 points
- Each coin target collected is worth 10 points
Your score is visible while you’re playing, and once your run finishes, it will appear on the in-game leaderboard after the game concludes for the day.
If you hit an obstacle, your run ends there. No second chances, no do-overs and no extra turns: just one clean run, powered by skill.
How the daily leaderboard works
Every run feeds directly into a daily leaderboard. The leaderboard is what decides who qualifies for the daily cash prizes.
A few important things to know:
- Leaderboards run daily from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time
- They reset automatically at 00:00 UK time
- Your finishing position is based on your final score
- The higher your score, the higher you can place
Before you play, you’ll be asked to choose a nickname. That nickname is displayed publicly on the leaderboard, and by submitting one, you’re consenting to it being shown in-game.
A gentle word to the wise: dodgy or offensive nicknames can land you on the naughty step and get you blocked from playing. So keep it cheeky, keep it clean, keep it fun.
How to play Paddy’s Run Royale
Getting started couldn’t be simpler.
- Click Play Here on the Paddy’s Run Royale game page
- Follow the in-game instructions
- Swipe on your screen to dodge obstacles and collect icons
- Build your score by running further and picking up dice and coin targets
Each dice is worth 5 points and each coin target is worth 10 points. Your run ends as soon as you collide with an obstacle.
At the end of the day, your final score is displayed next to your nickname on the leaderboard. Customers with the highest scores at midnight are the winners for that day - bragging rights included, naturally
You can play once per day only, between 00:00 and 23:59 UK time.
Who can take part?
Paddy’s Run Royale is available to:
- New and existing customers with registered Paddy Power accounts
- Players aged 18 or over
- Customers based in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland
The game is not available to customers who are excluded from promotions or who have received communication confirming they are excluded.
As with all games on site, it’s designed for responsible play and intended for adults only.
Daily prizes - what’s up for grabs?
Each day, there is a total prize pool of £10,000, which is paid out based on the final leaderboard positions.
The exact daily prize values are clearly shown within the game and reflected on the leaderboard itself, so you can always see how the prizes are structured for that day.
A few key points:
- Winners are determined by leaderboard position at midnight
- Cash prizes are paid before 10:00 UK time the following morning
- Prizes are automatically credited to your Paddy Power account
- Prizes can’t be exchanged for any other reward
If two or more players finish tied on both score and time, the prizes for the tied positions are added together and shared equally between the tied players.
You’ll get a nudge in-game the next day if you’ve bagged a prize, and your wallet will show the shiny new balance straight away.
When will I receive my prize?
All daily cash prizes are credited before 10:00 UK time the following day.
You’ll see the funds appear in your account balance, and you’ll also receive an in-game notification confirming your result.
Nice and tidy. No awkward waiting around.
Community Jackpots and Paddy Power Pants
Alongside the daily leaderboard prizes, Paddy’s Run Royale also features special community Jackpot mechanics linked to collectable items called Paddy Power Pants.
These Jackpots are shared among qualifying players once a community collection target has been reached.
Cheltenham Jackpots (10–13 March)
From 10 March to 13 March inclusive, an additional £10,000 community Jackpot per day will be available if the collective target of 10,000 Paddy Power Pants is reached.
During this period:
- Players can collect Paddy Power Pants during gameplay
- Once the community target is reached, 100 qualifying players who collected at least one pair of Pants will be randomly selected to share the Jackpot
- Players who collect a mystery trophy will automatically receive a guaranteed share of the Jackpot
All qualifying customers, including trophy collectors and randomly selected Pants collectors, will share the full Jackpot equally.
The Jackpot only triggers if the community target is reached during the promotional window. If the target is not reached, the Jackpot will not be awarded.
The Cheltenham period takes its name from Cheltenham, but the gameplay itself takes place entirely within Paddy’s Run Royale.
Weekly community Jackpots (from 14 March onwards)
From 14 March 2026, a weekly community Jackpot of £20,000 will run until 11 April 2026.
Here’s how the weekly Jackpots work:
- Each weekly cycle runs from 00:00 Sunday to 23:59 Saturday
- Players contribute towards a community target by collecting designated Paddy Power Pants
- The target required to trigger the Jackpot is shown in the in-game Jackpot tracker
- Once the target is reached, the Jackpot is triggered and cannot be triggered again during that same weekly cycle
For each Jackpot cycle:
- 100 qualifying players are selected at random to share the Jackpot
- Trophy collectors receive an automatic share
- The full Jackpot amount is shared equally among all qualifying customers
If the community target is not reached during the weekly period, the Jackpot will not be awarded.
Weekly Jackpot winners are paid before 10:00 UK time on the applicable payout day.
